Our Post

Several members of VFW Post 5311 attended the retirement ceremony for Dawn Bennet at the Salem VA Medical Center on April 30. They honored her 30 years of dedicated nursing service to veterans throughout Southwest Virginia. Thanks so much for all the care and compassion you have shown our members throughout your time with the VA! Our rental area can be configured for a meeting or class, with whiteboard, monitor and tables. The rentable area of our post includes a complete kitchen Long view of our rentable area, approximately 4,000 square feet Our rentable area recently helped 120 school children get back-to-school haircuts
